Absolutely. I've been playing solo for my entire playthrough and generally found the challenge level manageable, and the gameplay enjoyable.

I defeated one boss like 10 times in the early game, only to discover that they dropped a Magic weapon, when I decided to kill them once more at the end. I cant even imagine the expierience of having to play a Magic class, and actually having to redo a boss so many times with a sub-optimal setup, only to get 1 upgreade.
Engaging and exciting, Core Keeper is a perfect example of development and creativity. In addition to keeping you completely glued to the screen, with 1.0 it dramatically increases the hours that someone could spend inside it, thus allowing the player passionate about video games of this caliber to lose track of time.
Hunger: How hungry you are. If you're too hungry, you'll suffer some stat penalties. If you're stomach is full, you'll get a "Well Fed" buff that boosts your stats for a short time.

I'm running through a dark, narrow tunnel just as fast as my little legs will take me. The last time I ran this fast for this long it was because I'd stepped into a chamber coated with slime, heard a deep rumble, and saw a glowing centipede the size of a jumbo jet scrabbling out of the darkness at me. Core Keeper Gameplay I turned and ran and didn't stop until I'd gotten all the way back to my base.

is gorgeous to watch as you run around with a torch, but if your hands are otherwise occupied, it can get pretty dark down there. Keep a little stock of torches on hand to light up areas you’re going to be spending time in.
